Proxmox Server Solutions publishes security advisories exclusively in its forum. This service checks the forum every few minutes, records affected packages, fixed versions and CVE IDs, and sends a notification as soon as a new advisory is published.

How the service works

Frequently asked questions

What is a Proxmox Security Advisory (PSA)?

Proxmox Server Solutions publishes security fixes for Proxmox VE, Proxmox Backup Server, Proxmox Mail Gateway, Proxmox Datacenter Manager and Proxmox Offline Mirror as numbered advisories (for example PSA-2026-00019-1) in a locked thread of the Proxmox forum. Each advisory lists the affected packages, the fixed versions and, where available, CVE IDs.

Is there an official Proxmox security mailing list or feed?

No. Proxmox publishes advisories only in the forum. This independent service monitors those threads and forwards each new advisory by email, push notification or to a team chat. RSS feeds are available for all products or for individual ones.

Where do the CVSS scores come from?

Proxmox does not publish CVSS scores. For every CVE ID in an advisory the base score is looked up at the NVD or, if NVD has none yet, in the CVE.org record. The highest score of an advisory is shown in lists and notifications.

Is the service free?

Yes. There is no paid plan and no user account. Contact details are used only to deliver the subscribed advisories.

Will I receive old advisories after subscribing?

No. After you confirm your subscription you only receive advisories that appear from then on. Older ones are available in the searchable archive.

How do I unsubscribe?

Every notification contains a link to change your products or to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops all messages immediately.
